99 cents? I don't think that would buy you glow plugs anywhere. I got mine at O'reillys. They were the motorcraft brand. What ever you get don't go for the Autolites... THEY ARE JUNK!!!

Autozone had them last year for 1 cent and a bunch of people bought up all they could. You may want to check eBay. There are people selling them for fairly cheap. They normally were around $13 a piece so you need to figure that $50 a set isn't a bad deal now.

Just get some motorcraft ones and you'll be good to go check out Ebay as well. I got the penny ones from an FTE member when it happened last year

Motorcraft/Beru plugs only, unless you want to pull the head when they swell up and break off in the head.

Steve,

I put a new set in my truck because of a cold no-start, ended up having to replace motor but pulled the new glowplugs from the old motor. They may have ten starts on them. e-mail me at davidconnie@netscape.com if your interested.

LOL its true..motorcraft GP's for a penny
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/6...r-a-penny.html

thats all said and done now...you wont find them for a penny any more..no such thing as cheap when it comes to GP's..motorceaft is the only way to go..the so called cheap tend to swell and are a pain to remove..also the tips are known to break off and drop down on the piston...not so cheap any more....

I have heard horror stories about OBS injectors being mushroomed and being very fun to get out. I put my .01 GPs in a couple of months ago.. got to love FTE.
