I have a 98 4r70w with a 7 pin harness ... Trying to swap to a 97 9 pin trans ..... How hard to swap connectors and solenoid inside hand on trans to fit and work?
If you'll PM me an email address,I'll email you that info in a spreadsheet format. It'll be later this evening sometime when I get home.

I'm thinking Johnny is no longer with us.
Look at the date on thread.
There are differences in the builds of these units for speed indication and even the plugup and harness.
These changes came about due to the continuous upgrading leading to the PATS system and electronic dash developments from 99 up.
Good luck.
