brake system upgrades??
Ok 84 150 swb is needing a complete brake system overhaul. Is there bolt on upgrades from other models I can consider? I know my 79 bronco could have excepted a 79 350 booster /master cylinder for example. Not looking for rear disc swap yet either. Thanks

Hydroboost? You will need a booster unit from an F-Superduty trucks, you can buy the special power steering pump reservoir from NAPA, and pressure hoses from about any parts store, reuse your factory master cylinder or go up to an F350 master if you have F350 wheel cylinders (but don't use an F-superduty master). I did this to my old '79 Chevy, kept all halfton-specific brake calipers and wheel cylinders, but went up to 1-ton hydrobbost and master, results were absolutely beautiful. That very same booster now lives in my '90 F350, and if I get on the brakes good everything that is not secured can and is likely to take flight, passengers and cargo included.
