I have a 1995 F150, with 5.0 and the E4od trans. In cold weather it slips/shudders when changing gears. When the weather is warm it doesnt do it. Could this have something to do with the extremely oversized radiator? On a cold day the temp struggles to get to the edge of the normal range. On a warm day it will almost get to the N on normal. I had a 92 F250 with the HO351...the radiator wasnt nearly as big.

I dont really know. I bought the truck in September. It has a new motor, but I'm not sure if they did any trans work. The fluid is red like it should be. I even put a bottle of Lucas for auto transmissions in it. But that didnt help.
