My guess is injectors. Too many stories about rebuilds not running right. Have you considered doing the labor yourself? We could walk you through the process. Sounds like 6 more from Ryan should have you up and running.
If you're concerned about Ryan's injector, swap it with one in another cylinder and see what kind of difference that makes.
hmmm.. How difficult is an injector swap? I'm not the most mechanical kid.. I did do that tymar intake and exhaust but I think this is a little more involved...

Not really that hard. There are more steps involved, but if you can work a ratchet, and have access to a few rags and a torque wrench, you can do this. After all it's just removing a bunch of bolts, pulling the injector, and putting the bolts back in.
There's a few more steps involved, but that's basically all you're doing. Don't let it intimidate you.
Buzz tests only test the injector solenoid. I would guess that you have a bad solenoid (which you can replace separately) or you have a wiring issue on that wire to the injector or idm. Could even be in the idm I guess. Did you get the same test results with other idm's?
The truck runs better with all the injectors off, or just one of them? This may be out in left field, but you might consider disconnecting batteries for 5 minutes before running the next buzz test to make sure a bad solenoid isn't putting the IDM into safe mode.
Have you tried ohming the injectors on that bank to see if one of them is reading different than the others? I've see an ohm reading difference of 0.6 shut down the entire bank.

I have been fighting with the idm for a while. I got one coming tommorrow. If that one is bad then I'm pulling an idm off my other truck
I would ohm out I to C on that bank. Make a comparison to the other side for a good reference.
G - G - I - I - C - I - I - G - G
One out of range would indicate a bad solenoid. Test these at the valve cover or at the injector itself with a pigtail or old harness cut and plugged in.
