How do you remove the trim around the windshield of a 1980 F-250?

If it is like the earlier models, you will have to pull the windsheild and remove the trim from the rubber out of the truck.

Windshield trim

Hi, there is a trim removal tool that you can buy in the parts houses insert this between the glass and the chrome slide it along till it stops then work it against the top (like a lever) it will release the clips and the chrome can be lifted off.

I thought the 80 model had the cheap stuff that wasn't even metal?
If so,you will have to cut the rubber like jo said(from the inside)and remove it afterwards.

1970 f250 4x4
