Got a call this morning, Mama fell outside last night I assume it was in the awful wind storm we got. But they say she broke her pelvis in 2 places and broke her back.. They are taking mir's and more x-rays now.But just hoping for your prayers, after all it's mama..I can not describe how much she means to me never will be able to. She was always there for anybody in need. Never a mean word. ( I hate that it takes a tragedy to remember how dear someone is too me..)
I know I am new to the fte family and I am a God fearing man I just belong to no mans church. and this is the only group of people I have to ask for help..so please, and thankyou Who the he** said big boys don't cry...
Thankyou F150dude, just got home from the hospital the doctors are still trying to decide what is the best procedure, if they go the surgery route they don't have a surgeon qualified, so they will have to fly her to harber view in Seattle. They are going to consult with their surgeons in the morning. but their is no paralasis at least. Because of moms old age (73) it makes the surgery more serious or complicated.
again thankyou all for your prayers.
My mamaw fell and broke her pelvis, tail bone, and hip (she's 86) about 6 months ago. She's about 90% better now, though. I don't know if she'll get 100% better, since she has arthritis and her age.
But, hope that gives ya some encouragement. The pelvis heals somewhat fast, because it doesn't support weight. Oh yeah, I had to stay with my mamaw for 2 - 3 weeks overnight and throughout the day to help her. She couldn't get in and out of bed by herself, or hardly even get off a chair. Hope all goes well, it will heal up. Good luck.
