Welcome herojeep to the chapter!
Our newest member, from Orange County.
I'll bet you that was quietman - sounds like his rig, and that's his stomping grounds.
He certainly pointed you in the right direction.
Glad to have you here!

Quietman,
You're going to LOVE that rig, especially if you tow something of size and have a family. That's what it was built to do.
A good friend has a 2WD (rare at his trim level), and absolutely loves his. He knows NOTHING about his vehicles (he's a CPA and could care less other than the price of fuel), but realizes it's never in the shop and gets great mileage compared to his old 454 Suburban which it replaced.
It's a damn shame they were discontinued.

Car show?
Sorry for the delay in checking back. Thanks for the welcome.
I hope I haven't missed the show. When is it? I would love to meet other members in person. I just got done installing my dream tires, 38" Michelin XML's.
I also just posted a question about speedometer calibrations.
Glad to be here. Looking forward to gaining knowledge from everyone.
Eli.

Thanks for checking in, Eli. The Knott's show was a couple of weeks ago, but we have a group get together coming up on the 16th of May in Ventura:https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/8...t-ventura.html. Our event for June is at the F100 Western Nationals on the 20th: f100 Western Nationals. July is still tentative, but we're looking at a BBQ at El Dorado Park in Long Beach on the 5th.
Those tires on your X are seriously beefy!
