Need Advice

I am planning on getting a 2010F150 Platinum, this will be my first Ford ever, I am trying to get feedback on various things about the vehicle, first off I would like feedback on the Sync/Nav system, how do you like it? Any problems? Is it user friendly?

It works well except for the voice recognition on the phone book. Puts my other Nav units to shame.

The Navi is very user friendly. I probably would not have ordered it because of the additional cost, but this truck happened to have it, so that's what I got. Now, I couldn't imagine not having it. Definitely a good option.

I haven't used the voice recognition features yet, so I can't really comment on that part.

well if you have a cell phone and talk while driving, sync is worth ever pennie in my eyes, much better than any head set

but for the nav i seen it as to over priced since my 150 dollar gps still get me around and i don't use it ever day

From my limited experience with the Ford Nav. system it is great, and I ordered it on my truck. You can get other good nav systems for cheaper however they are not integrated in to the truck and there are a few cool but lazy things you can do with the nav system that you can't do with out it. For example you can push the button on the steering wheel and tell it what temp you want the AC or heat to be set at. I don't remember what else there was since it has been about two months since I test drove the two trucks, one with one without nav. but my truck will hopefully be here in two - three weeks.

I use the weather map, with the wind direction during bow season, to pick out which stand I need to hunt that day. Plus, I use the Hockey scores and schedules along with most of the other features.
