i got a 94 f150 with a black grille and i was wondering if there was a way to either paint the blue on the emblem black to match the grille or of someone sells ford emblems that way?

My post will be coming up man! The mods have to approve it because it's a link to another Ford forum.
It's an in-depth how-to.

Wow. I checked out the link. Looks like it would work. I like little details like that too, but it sure looks like some people have way too much time on their hands or definitely more free time than I do! More power to you if you do. I'm just jealous I guess.

Oh, btw...as I recall some early Ford stuff (like Model A's?) had Ford ovals that were all chrome with the outline oval and script recessed in black. Might be worth checking out a supplier for Model T or A resto stuff. One of those might look pretty good on a black grill...just a thought.

will that how to really work on the ones we have on our year trucks?

i saw it and i was skeptical because i didnt know if thats how our emblems were and i didnt want to rip apart my emblem and have to buy another one haha

and i will definately look into the model t's and stuff that would be sick

and the red one would be so sick and i am one for peterbuilts but it would look funny with the awkard tanish color that the rest of my truck is lol

Read the beginning of the article, it tells you how to determine if your badge can be peeled apart or not!

I had thought about doing this at one time, but didn't want to loose to smooth finish on the front or cut it open to paint the inside.

There are some people on ebay that sell emblem overlays in the color of your choice. They are inexpensive, but probably don't look as good as the real emblem does.

I may check into the ones at planet auto.

Why can't we post links to other forums. That does not make any sense at all? There is usefull information on other forums too.
