Louisiana Edition F150?

I was strolling through the junkyard and found an F150 87-88 model that had Louisiana Edition XL Badges on it. I am from Louisiana so naturally I was curious on what extras or differences it had, but I didn't see anything different except the badges. Anyone know anything about these?

No surprises here. Dodge actually does this now. The Big Horn Edition throughout the US is called the Lone Star Edition in Texas.

chevy doesn't have a lot of things that ford does... don't remember the last time someone told me they're chevy had 226,000 miles on it and it still ran great.

well justin... you would be the first I've heard of... I read an article in the paper about a old lady who had a chevy that just turned a million miles with the original motor, but that was the only time i've heard of a high mileage chevy still running... maybe its cause the guys just scrap them and get new ones or something... I know around here there are many many more older fords on the road then chevy... and there are a lot of trucks in the motor city
