I have an 83 f100 that has the original bench seat in it. I've added new carpet, dashpad, and other new interior pieces, but the seat is in need of an upgrade. does anyone out there know if a later model seat will bolt in? I would like a 40-20-40 from a early-mid 90's model. thanks in advance

I am not sure but i would post this in the 80-up forum.Alot of good guys who could tell you for sure.I would say the floors on the early 80's is same as a 92 also but ain't sure.

Yes, any seat from a F series truck will bolt right in if you put your original slide tracks on the replacement seat. All you have to do is remove 4 bolts, take the old one off and replace it with the new one.
I put a 96 seat with power lumbar and center console into my 77 crew cab 4x4.
