MAC - I recommend starting a new thread with the details of your truck and the issues you are working through. You'll get more feedback from the folks on the site.
Easy scan tool can be had using your phone and the FORScan Lite app. It does a great job. Please use it before considering a dealer scan.

You can rule out a bad ICP sensor by simply unplugging it, and driving the truck to see if your symptoms persist. If the problem goes away, the ICP sensor, pigtail, or related wiring is likely faulty.
