holley 4160 mixture screws

It is only 80% VE at best.
The screw will be on the very bottom. You should be able to see the tip of it on the passenger side sticking up out of the base plate touching the secondary linkage under the diaphram rod, I believe.

yeah, I saw it, just never thought of it.

.80 you think? I guessed from different books I've read.

Took the carb off, made sure the secondaries closed all the way,put it back on and same thing. Throw a rag over them, raises rpm slightly,then dogs down. Checked to make sure the vacuum wasn't pulling on them. I'm at a loss.

Does it run ok? What other problems besides it won't die by moving the mixture screws?

I honestly can't remember if the one I had would lean out that much or not.
