quick question????
this morning my o/d light began to flash and I knew it was something with the transmission. Just for giggles I turned the motor off to see if it would reset and stop. it did but it felt like it took longer to change into o/d. My CEL did not come on and was wondering if there would be a code stored somewhere on this ploblem?

Normally when the OD light is flashing, the trans goes into 'limp' mode which causes it to shift harder which is not good for the trans. You can try pulling the codes, but you can't always get trans codes from pulling from the PCM.

it is a 2001 with the 4.0
