Signal Switch Wiring
I have a 1979 F-150 that I'm putting an aftermarket tilt column in. I can't find a wiring diagram that matches the wires I have. The connector from the old column is curved, gray, and has 10 wires:
1.Light green
2.Light green with white stripe
3.White with light blue stripe
4.Light blue
5.Light green with red stripe
6.Orange with blue stripe
7.White with red hash marks
8.Dark blue
9.Yellow with green or blue dots
10.Light blue with red stripe
I have wiring diagrams from F-series trucks from 1976 through 1986 and while some wires match, none completely match.
I come seeking great wisdom at the feet of the F-series masters.
Does anyone have a diagram that matches these wires and can you tell me what they are supposed to connect to? If so I will make sure that no one ever speaks your name again except in hushed, reverent tones and if you ever need Vinnie and Guido to protect you, you just have to whistle.
