Make sure you dont have any electrical drains either. My truck tends to sit for a month at a time now and then and always starts up. My mustang can sit for 6 months or more, and always fires right up as well.

my vehicles that sit for a while i use a little solar cell that conects to the battery and put the solar cell on the dash. keeps the battery charged. i use these because the are cheap and i don't have to run extension cords from my shop to my vehicles. good luck

Yep forgot about them too.
I have one that has suction cups on it and plugs into the cigarette lighter. Many car dealers use them on their lots.
That's were I got mine from for free. It came with my Jetta and they were going to throw it away.
