mass air conversion

Well. i've looked on the internet for a good bit and have learned some about it but i'm not 100% sure what exactly is required. Is it possible to use a complete mustang wiring harness? There is a granatelli harness to convert mustangs but I'm not completely sure what else is required to adapt it for a truck. By the way, my truck is a 1987 f150 with a 302 and manual trans. thanks.

The mustang harness is not suitable to trucks because the computers are located on opposite sides of the vehicles. In your case you don't need a complete harness just the sequential injector wiring and MAF meter wiring, you could pull this from a number of donor vehicles including F sereis trucks and a number of cars and add it your existing harness, and then just plug in the mustang computer. There are also a small number of wires that need to be moved, if you look at the computer pinouts on the Ford Fuel Injection site you'll see just how close all these vehicles are.

the sequential wiring harness... is that what the granatelli harness is? or if not, is that something that plugs in, or do i have to splice wires? is there a link to exactly what pins i need to move? also, will any computer from an 89-93 mustang work?
