suspension/alignment

So my question involves mostly my alignment. I decided to try and be MacGyver and do my front breaks myself (4x4), with no press for the hubs/rotors. when i put it all back together, apparently i didnt pack the bearings tight enough, because the alignment was fishy. i took it in to have the alignment done, and the shop repacked the bearings before doing the alignment. after the alignment was done, the steering tightened up, but the truck still pulled to the right, although it pulled worse before hand. any thoughts on what may be misaligning my truck still? warped bushing? Oh and i should note that the pull has progressively become worse. thanks.

Check that the right front caliper is releasing all the way. This can sometimes be caused by a partially blocked brake line. I have experienced it on a Dodge minivan, could happen on a Ford. Could be something in the 4 wheel drive setup but I no practically nothing about 4 wheel drive.

I'm sorry to ask such a question (I am Captain Obvious in my superhero alter ego), but, how is the air pressure in the tires?

air pressure is good. i also discovered a slight clunk when turning hard left and braking, such as when i pull into a parking space. it doesnt do it every time tho. i will pull the wheel off and look at the caliper.

are both hubs unlocked?

I get a funny vibe and more wander when mine are locked in.

yeah its not the hubs as far as that goes, unless one is stuck and the cant be switched, but they both feel normal. there are probably too many variables considering the info i have supplied. thanks.

I'm a day or so late, but it occurs to me that you paid for an alignment. Why not take the truck back to the shop that did it, and tell them to either fix it (under warranty), or at least tell you what's wrong?

i waited too long because i thought the slight misalignment was my old tires. i picked up a new set and the problem came back after a month or so. my own stupidity.

I'd still take it to them, and maybe pay for diagnostic time. They should be able to give you a definite cause of the problem, anyway. It beats guessing.
