I did finally find one, at a junkyard about 50 miles away from me. Hated having to prepay for it, so no matter what I did, it was mine, even if it got screwed up getting it out. Cost me $50, though. I am wondering, are the fittings on each end something that is a normal hydraulic fitting, or are they Ford-specific? if it is Ford specific, is it a current fitting on ANY vehicle. In other words, can I buy (say) a Mustang clutch line, cut the line off, and put new brake line or something on the new fittings, to reach where I need it to, as has been suggested? Just wanting to find out in case I ever run into this problem again, as I have been told that the line freezing in the tranny side and refusing to come out is a common issue. Thanks, John

Usually the master end is held in with a steel pin and the other end is that quick connect never unconnect thing. I believe it's automotive only crap. Only way around this junk is to buy wilwood or some other aftermarket stuff and run a brake line. Both my 75 and 94 Ford's have the wilwood stuff. Much easier to work with. RB
Wilwood makes aftermarket brakes, mostly heavy duty racing parts. Hydraulic clutch lines are essentially brake lines, so a lot of brake parts can be used.
