ignition switch fell apart

ignition switch fell apart
The round piece on the exterior of my 2002 explorer ignition switch just fell out and I'm not sure how to fix it. It's silver and about the size of a dime. The key will still insert into the mechanism below, but not sure about what to do.
Any ideas?
