New guy v10?
Hey, new here and have some questions. MIght go look at a 2000 f350 single cab 4*4. The truck has a V10 with 98000 miles. I dont have any experience with these v10s or no anyody that has one. Are they good and reliable, what kind of gas mileage can be exepected, will they last as long as a v8? Anything i need to look for if i go look at it? thanks.

I have an 06 with 148K on it no major problems,brakes and oil basicly,liked it so much I have an 08 crew cab long bed 4x4 V10 lariat as well,the empty truck the new one gets 13 to 14mpg,the 06 at 11,000 lbs gross gets about 9mpg.
