please help ...cant get hood open

so there never was a cable under my hood just the small section and all you did was reach in and pull the little cable on the latch then the saftey latch then it was open.
well now tht cable is gone.
looks to me like to get grillle off you have to have the hood open and thats not possible
please some kind of input im about to just cut around the latch and buy a new hood

I'd bust up a plastic grille before cutting a hood. Seems easier to replace.

Never had this problem, so can't really offer any real insight.

well had a case of the ******* or something i just thought wait the cable hooks to something and all good now and got it open thanks

You can take the grille out of an 87-91 truck with the hood closed and without breaking the grille. I've done it a couple of times.
