CPS bug might have bit me...
Here's my story. I don't drive the truck everyday but today I decided to take it to work. Warmed it up for a few minutes, then dropped into reverse and it stalls... I'm thinking huh??? 
Cycled the key a couple times, turns over but don't fire. Then I turn the key all the way off, then it started right up. I ended up taking it to work, no issues whatsoever but I'm thinking here at my desk (instead of doing work...) that my CPS is to blame. I have been down this road before with both this truck and my old PSD so I do have a spare black Ford CPS in the glovebox that I will swap out tonight. BTW, it has an IH black CPS in it now.
Question is: What's the part number to ask my IH dealer for a (gulp) gray CPS to replace my spare? My seach function isn't working right, it's pulling up a bunch of threads not related to CPS's.
I have an IH dealer a block from my work which I figure I'll pick up another spare from them. I do not plan on bringing my truck into the dealer for the recall until they get they're problems straighten out. Thanks for listening to my babble...

here is what I found "1821720C99 is what is in the pic above, and the one I bought. It cost me $52.10 + tax from the International dealership."

Got another one Clay??? Sorry Chris, mine would quit on me after it warmed up and I started down the road a bit and right when I turned a corner, shut down, put in nutral, cycled the key off and cranked it again and it would start..

Ha, I guess it was a full moon last night? I was just talking with Andrew (F150 I-6) last Sunday and brought up the whole CPS recall thing, must have jinxed me and you. Good luck.

Well thats cool you got the CPS coming from Clay, I'm getting one too to switch out with this gray recall i got in there now, runs a bit rough, we'll see how the black does
Plus i need one for the glove..
