I think I am going to do it. One thing I did notice............the EGT were not as high WOT without the CAT. Already a plus.
They eventually climbed up to 1150 WOT but it took way longer for them to do so. Maybe it's just my imagination. I was thinking maybe my CAT was plugged....nope....free flowing as it was new.
That darn CAT retains alot of heat before it flows to the exhaust.

I had my wife come out and hear the truck after I straight piped it.....mind you I was giddy with joy @ the bada$$ jet plane sound it was emitting.
She said "Oh my god, what did you do to your truck....it sounds broken!"
I just smiled and thought to myself....it must be a guy thing. I thought that was pretty funny.
