I'd say so. 30 years = great chance of a radio being stuffed in it.

I've seen one or two pop up on eBay before. They weren't very common in the first place, and unfortunately many of the ones that were out there were cut up to put in a radio. If you found one at a yard and it's not too expensive, I'd pick it up. You could resell it on eBay, or it'd just be cool to have anyway.

Danggit! :/
It's not a friggin "radio delete bezel"! :/
It's the -real thing-!
The others have been ruined by cutting a hole in 'em for a #$%in squawk box! :/
"just a bunch of excited talk about nothin" comes out of them stinkin radios.

Whew, ok, there, I feel better now. :)

The walnut **** was purchased at the NAPA in Willcox in '75.

Shows my "new" **** that might be 20 years older than the pickup. :)

Chances are pretty good that the pickup was special ordered to -not- have a radio.
Our company trucks were that way and so was mine.

That's coolest thing I've ever read in one of these "radio delete" threads! :)

Did you buy your pickup new too, Charlie? :)

Cool. :)

Mine has the factory A/C hole, so it's not exactly as plain (and cool!;) as you can get,
just "closer to cool" than most, is all. ;)

0000 steel wool and a little bit of 600 sandpaper was used on the stubborn spots.
pps- when you've got an FE you don't need no steen keen radio. ;)

Alvin, I didn't buy it new, which is even more amazing that it's still untouched. Me and my truck are the same age.

My 79 is a radio delete bezel as well. I bought a Dennis Carpenter bezel to cut this spring to put a radio in and keeping the other oneliek it was meant to be....uncut.
