Won't go in reverse
As I stated in the HELLO page of the forum, I have a 1977 F250 XLT Auto with a 460 CID engine. It drives beautiful except I will NOT go into reverse. When you put it in "R", you feel it engage, then slowly creep forward. If I remember from Auto class, the Reverse drum and the 1st gear drum are the same. Am I looking at a bad or slipping Drum Band?
On the C-4 tranny, you can adjust that, but I think this is a C-6 transmission.
Any suggestions?
