Motor mount help

I am a new user but have been searching the site for many of my questions..great help. I am currenlty restoring a 1966 F100. It was my Great Uncle's then my Dad's and now mine. I am doing a complete frame up restoration and ready for the engine. I am going to replace the 300 straight line six with a 351 W. What motor mounts can be used? I am planning on using the existing C4 tranny. Thanks,

You need the correct 1" LOWER 302/351M/400 engine perches and the correct 302 truck engine isolators. Found in millions if 69 to 79 ford trucks.

The 300/369/390 perches can be used but will sit the engine to high in the engine compartment with the 302 non withstanding using the tall deck 351W.

Thanks garbz2.

I found perches for a 302 out of a 73 for my 66. The holes align on the top holes but not on the bottom holes. I am assuming you would set the perches in the top holes and use the perch as a template to drill the bottoms holes. Is this correct? Also, what top holes do you align the perch with..all the way forward or to the rear or is it only one way?

What about the drive shaft?..will I need to modify the length?
