Rear axle spring perch width on Bumps?

Rear axle spring perch width on Bumps?

I've got a F100 Dent with a 9inch that has
44+3/4" spring perches center to center.

How wide are the Bumps rear springs?
2wd and 4wd different?
Different for different years?

Cool. :)
How far apart are they on the axle? :)
The perches are 44+3/4" center to center on my '75 F100.
I'm thinking about a "wide axle" swap into a bump side. :)

Dunno the span, not listed in the catalog.

Wait'll you take a gander at my response to your brake pedal question.

That '73/79 brake pedal nightmare is enough to drive Carrie Nation to a saloon...to drink whiskey!

btw: The want of whiskey is why AZ has no seaport. The Gadsden Purchase surveyors were thirsty...why there's a bee line diagonal borderline to Yuma.

If they had continued westward in a straight line, that wooda led them to the Sea of Cortez.

Yeah, 22 brake pedals is just plumb crazy. :)

2+1/4" wide springs on the bump-sides is funny too, my '75 F100 F150
and '91 F150 all have 2+1/2" wide springs. Got to me to scheme-in'. ;)

Thanks for the effort, Bill! :)

Why?

Look at it from the other owners perspectives.

There were no springs prior to 1973 that were 2 1/2" wide.

So Bump/Slick/'Fridgerator owners think it's funny that Dent owners have wider springs.

Alvin, I came across your post , I have the same question. I think the Bump is either 40" 0r 40 3/4" Center to Center of spring perches. But am trying to verify, that is correct, did you ever get answer.

looks like 40 5/8. hard to get an exact measure with pumpkin in the way.
I was gonna drop a line and measure but it's a bit windy to do that right now.
If it calms down I can try and get a precise measure for you.
Unless someone has another suggestion on how to get the measurement.
