tranny leak

may be overfilled, this happened to me two days ago. There's a "relief spout" (for lack of a better descriptive word) just above the front cooler line inlet closer to the topside of the trans. overfilled mine and the trans fluid came spilling out.

not the pan or fittings; i tthought it was the front cooler line. replaced it. its coming from that erea. the over flow sounds more like it. but i've been checking and rechecking the level and i reads correctly.

i parked it last night and it drained fluid. it only leaks when its parked. i just drove it if i wake up tomorrow and it has leaked less than im thinking i overfilled it. maybe my dipstick is the wrong one. my understanding on how to check the fluid is when its hot and shifted thru all the gears a couple of times and then checked in park.
