Help, Windshield wipers stopped working
I tried searching this subject and have had no luck yet. I have a 2001 F-250 PSD and this morning my windshield wipers in my truck quit working. I had a little bit of snow on my windshield and as I turned them on, they lifted halfway and quit. I turned them off, removed the snow, and tried again. No life in the wipers. I checked the fuse, still intact, so I don't believe it is the fuse in the cab. Do the relays under the hood fuse box break? Or did I break the motor? When I turn the blade switch on and off I can hear a clicking coming from the underhood fuse box. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks

Relays can fail, but if they are clicking then it's a decent sign they are working. I believe there is some circuitry in the motor housing, and I once read a thread here or the Excursion forum where a motor caught fire. Check the motor input for power before jumping to an conclusions.
