I used to own a 1994 F150 and from what i remember there isn't a heck of a lot out there for tuners/programmers. When i went to my local performance shop they told me the only kind they carried for that year were from JET Performance and that they weren't even worth the $$$. I could be wrong though because I took his advice and chose not to buy it. He recommended I look into a good set of headers and exhaust system for my truck to up the power.
without the chip and some other modifications though there will be no power increase from a new header and exhaust because there is not an extra amount of back pressure on the system that needs to be released.
That is true. I ended up breaking the rear end and getting a new F150 before I could put anything on it so sorry I cant be of too much help other than telling you that JET Performance does make a plug in module for that year. Good Luck!

Oh, so that is why that people say adding pipes do not really help that much? You have to add other stuff in order for them to actually come in use? What type of other modifications?
An engine is an air pump, everything between the air filter and the tailpipe has an effect on how much power it makes. I can tell you from experience the 2 major restriction points on this motor are the camshaft and exhaust system, upgrade both those and you will see LOTS more power, no other mods necessary. You can waste money on all kinds of other parts but you won't see significant gains.
