hey everyone, i have 1997 psd witha 7.3L and whenever it rains or i wash the truck the tranny begins to slip. and if it gets warm the tranny does it more frequently. if i am going from a stop the transmission hesitates to shift into the next gear. but if i go under the truck and wiggle the wires the transmission stops and begins to work perefectly again.

this should fix he problem? buying an entirely new harness?

Pull the connector and look at it. I was having problems with the tranny shifting, going into limp mode and even dropping into neutral and the highway. I cleaned the VSS in the diff and then the tranny connector was corroded. Cleaned it up and its been fine for the last 6 weeks or so
