water temp gauge help

Hey guys, I installed some gauges and trying to figure out where to install the sensor for the coolant temp. 05 f250 6.0l

I believe there is a 3/8npt or larger plug on the crossover tube. It's near to the thermostat so it would be a decent choice.

There is a plug in the block on the drivers side near the exahust manifold. You can get an adapter to fit that plug hole and a 1/8" NPT temp probe.
