shocks

i tried a search...it gives me threads not even close to what i'm asking for. so heres my question. i'm looking to replace the shocks in my truck. i do no off roading. i do tow a 32' camper(9000lbs) i have a leveling kit, and i cant spend alot of money. so whats a good bang for my buck and what should i definitly stay away from? i currently have superlift shocks in my truck.
thanks

I found Bilstein shocks cheap at eshocks.com. They are terrific shocks and I couldn't find them cheaper anywhere.

I'm also in a similar situation, but my towing loads are not as high. I checked out the bilstiens on eshocks and they seem to be priced well. The owner of the local brake shock an dmuffler shop recommended KYB monomax shocks. does anyone know how these compare?

Spinella,

Does the camper make the rear sag? If so you would need Airlift shocks in the rear to level it and are fine with Bilstein's on the front.

If there's no sag, you can go Bilstein's all around. Bilstein is offering a buy 3 get 1 free promotion right now for most truck or suv models. In addition you can get 5% discount promo code - Ford5 and you qualify for free shipping for orders of $95 or more.

In the monotube shock world Bilstein is considered #1 and KYB Monomax #2.

Spinella,

Is this the search you chose - Shockwarehouse.com? If it's showing the buy 3 get 1 free get one free banner after the rear shock, then both the front and rear for that model are eligible for the promotion. Those Bilstein's are $68.14 per shock. I haven't seen them anywhere else for that cheap (plus 5% discount and free shipping)!

When you go to check out it will show the price adjustment in the ecart.

Let me know if you don't see this. Don't forget to tack on the promo code to get the 5% discount - Ford5 and you also qualify for Free Shipping.

Hope that helps!

Hope you did not order air shocks for the back, there are better ways to deal with load. I would not put air shocks on my grandpa's farm wagon!!!
