92 Changed steering column wont start

I just swapped out steering columns on my truck. It is a 92 F150 with a manual transmission. The steering column was for an automatic however. After putting it together the starter would turn over, but the truck would not start. I looked closer and noticed a wire connector not connected to anything. I took a couple of pictures, but I do not have enough post yet to put pictures on the site. The connector has 3 wires to it, a white/green wire, a white/brown wire and a red wire in the middle with "A" "B" "C" on the connector. It branches off from the group of wires going to the turn signal and emergency flasher. Any ideas?

After further review, it appears as though some folks have had to adjust the ignition switch. Could this be the problem? I would think if the starter is turning, the truck should start.

Yee ha! I figured it out. I have 2 tanks on this truck with the rear tank not in working order. I had bumped the switch from the front to the rear. I switched it back and it started right up.
