Cowl hood pics please!!!
Hey everyone, I need to put a cowl on my 78 2wd and I cant find any pics on google or anything. can anyone help me out here. There own photos of the trucks or just something to get a reference. Thanks a lot

If you do a search you'll see that Unlimited Products has a very bad reputation for the cowl induction hoods for our truck. A friend bought one and the multi month ordeal cost 4 times the original cost to get it right, and he is not the only one with trouble. Do a search on them before you spend your money.

Yes, yes I do have a cowl hood. I am in the process of making another for my red truck, and considered making a carbon fiber one for pops' truck, but my broke tail cant justify the expense.
I do like the cowl look though. Even though it is a bowtie thing, it still brings soome cool factor.
I can tell you this, the trucks are difficult to see around anyway, and a large cowl makes the hoodline real high. This impairs vision quite a bit.

A cowl induction hood does look sweet though, a shame the quality of this one is so bad. This is what it looked like on a friends truck when finally done:

Thanks everyone, probably gonna get the 4 inch hood from Unlimited Products,looks dam good and awesome that they make a race weight one, 77460, do you by chance know where your buddy got that tonneau for his? Tell him his truck is plain kick ***, mine looks similar but is a long box and has silver in it. Thanks again everyone
