Ok heres a new ? my 85 f150 has the aint knock sen on the intake manfoil the 1990 5.0 e150 has it on the block in the back of the motor
do I have to use the one for the 90 or can I graind off enought of the 85s intake to clear it and use the ainti knock on the intake or does it really matter whitch one I use

I know it is a knock sensors cause i busted it when I did a head job on the 85 and thats what it shows in the book
so back to the ? do I have to use the one on the motor of 90 5.0 or can I use the one on the intake of the 85

You really don't need the knock sensor... Just keep good fuel, and a proper tune up,
you'll be fine, all you'll get is a code during the KOER test...
