Syclone
The owner was very nice and we talked awhile, he had a double chip in his truck and a filter only. It was 90 degrees when we ran and the first run he ran a 14.1 to my 14.0

..and then the 2nd run he ran a 13.9 to my lousy 14.1
I had him off the line on both runs, but he got about a truck lenght on me on the second run.
I was running consistent 2.0s to his 2.2s
They are nice looking trucks and very Rare, but I would not go as far to say that they are faster than the Gen2s.
I have not raced a modified Syclone, but I have raced against two modified gen2s..and they passed me so fast....I don't even think they knew I was there
I don't see many syclones at the track, But I wish I did.
I attend most of the truck events in the Northeast, and the trucks I see flying are usually "Lightnings"
I will be going to New England Dragway for the East Coast Truckin Nationals on the 29th of Sept, and I hope to see a few other trucks models there to prove me wrong.

How can ANYBODY say that it is or was the fastest production truck. Why would anybody make such an asinine statement as that? As anybody heard of a Syclone out running a C-5 Corvette? Transam FireHawk? M-3 BMW or even an M-5?

the TRUCK wihich the cyclone was in a <!---pian in your *** --> ..why.. because it was in 1990-91.. when Ford had nothing even rmotely close to it.. including your mustang..
We are troll.. i have Fords so i'm no troll .. bt i find many many of you guys on LS1 .com starting your <!--Bull-s-hit --> over the03 Cobra and the l..wow..out of the box niether perform anything extraordinary nothing an Auto Ws6( which tested in 01-02 trim.. these years a sig..because they recieved ls6 part0 as i was saying Pontic Performance Mag tested a Porker fully loaded Ws6 10 runs all 13.0x in automatic.. nothing you've got come close to doing that 10 out of ten time.. siure Evan might get a 12.8 or 12.7 but the next run he's back into the 13'sthe Ws6 auto represents what any Joe smoe with limitedracing experience can do..

the Syclone.. with less mods than you l with responf feroiusly it had awd..a suffers from no parasitic loss like the s/c l.. sorry th official test have the cyclone listed as the quickest all time truck ever..up to 2001 and the l fastest do t its top peed.. remove the govener.. they did on a t/a with the 3.8 Turbo it did 155.. i'llaasume the 4.3 willhunker down arounfd 145 also so you'd lose to in both..to a 11 year old Gm truck..

and the lie of my Lt5 a dohc 4v engine making over 405 hp vs the dinky 4.6 with ll your modern tech.. makes about the same with a huffer.. how sad is that in 93 the Lt5 did this agaian here come ford 10 years later saying wow look at us patting yourselves on the back..
