front axle bolt size
Does anyone konw the size of the front axle bolt, changing rotors and want to make one trip to the tool store. 1997 F250 7.3 4x4.

You need to be more specific...there are a lot of bolts on your front axle.

The hub nut, bearing retaining nut, need to remove front rotors.

Do you have manual or automatic hubs? They both use a different socket.

I just did mine and it was a 2&3/4 inch nut and it calls for a thin walled 6 point socket Good Luck!!
