Exclamation CCV Parts ....HELP

I'm in need of a piece of 4" diameter pipe for the CCV mod. I can't find it any where. Was out looking all day for parts couldn't find anything. If anyone still has some left over from an exhaust I sure would like to know and I would be willing to pay for it.

I also need a detailed list of the sizes of fittings and hose for this as well. Any help and info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

this is a good mod...

I found my parts at "Liberty Equipment". They are a local shop here in Fredericksburg, Va. that services Bobcat and other heavy equipment. They had the 4 inch exhaust pipe and also had 3/4 inch ID (inside diameter) oil resistent hose.

The hose was like $2 a foot and the 4 inch pipe was cheap.

I got the pvc stuff at Lowe's Hardware and used the filters for your floor vents in your house for inside the pvc.

it's been a year or so since I did the CCV mod, but from what I remember, I didn't need a piece of pipe. I remover the ccv from the stock intake tube, cleaned it out, sanded the fittings flat, and filled the hole with what I believe was a 5/8" or 3/4" carriage bolt from the inside. I siliconed it in and nutted it from the outside, and have never had a problem. Just make sure that you rout the hose to somewhere where the smell won't come up into the cab. I ran mine to the running board on the drivers side, and with the windows open, I sometimes see the smoke, and it smells like trans fluid burning.

I'm surprised that a local muffler/exhaust shop doesn't have some 4" scraps lying around, especially if they work on trucks.

Thanks for the help guys. Do we need a 4" ID or OD piece of pipe for the Mod? Since I still can't find any at the local shops I guess I will go this route and order it. Thanks for the website Chris.

I've got the piece I built that bolts up to the factory bracket. Painted black to blend in. I had to replace it cause I installed a larger compressor housing with 4" intake tube and it wouldn't bolt back up for some reason. If you pm me your address, I'll throw it in the mail.

Here's some pics:

Another piece of 4" SS pipe. I painted it black too. It looks identical to this one but with no mounting flange welded to it.
