low54, did you replace the bottom section of the "A" piller? If so, where did you buy your parts? I need to replace these on my 56.

Thanks, Craig

Craig, I got mine from carpenter. Pretty cheap as I recall. I got them a few years ago and they are still sitting on a shelf.

Thanks, Craig

Coke, I really like midfifty, they've always done good with parts -n-stuff,and if you like toots'e rolls they load up the shipping box with them as well, on a serious note, I hade to hammer the cowl a bit...but that could have been my mistake with the addition/position of the A pillar and rocker re-placement...things either shifted(although I did brace the cab before cutting out the rocker and pillar and cowl...The heap is teachin me some real lessons

Nice work. Your pics remind me of what I should be doing instead of finding excuses to work on other things.

Low54, I had to look twice at your pics to see that you weren't working on my 54. It is the same light green and had similar problems with the driver's side rocker. Nice work!

husker, yeah, it really was bad...the passenger side is pretty bad too, but I'll be able to salvage the cowl...then on the both cab corners...which I'll relace the driver side altogether, as I'm filling the gas inlet...and place the tank in the bed...My biggest issue now is lining up the doors...I mean the cab is really tweeked...The seafome green, is a great color, however, I'm going with glacier blue...since blue is my favorite color...it was also, stock for '53, '54
