9007 vs 9008 Headlights....

Ive been thinking about upgrading my headlights in my 01 to the 05+ lights, which means switching from 9007 to 9008 bulbs. I was also thinking about trying out a set of HID's to see if I like them since I can get them through one of my accounts for cheap. The issue is this, my supplier does not list 9008's so I assume they dont have them. I heard somewhere that H13 is interchangeable with 9008, and they do have H13. The 9007's are the only ones they carry that are listed as High/low and not just low beam. Can anyone help straighten all this out for me?

9008 is more commonly known and listed as a H13 bulb. So yes, you would use the H13.

The H13 is just a low beam kit, does that mean I wont have High beams at all, or does that mean the Highbeams will be the regular bulb?

Depending on the kit, it could just be Low beam.

I've seen H13s with the HID low and halogen high.

And I've also see the Bi-xenon H13s where both the High and Low beam are HID, or the capsule moves in the housing.

Usually if they don't state hi/low then they most likely only produce one light output. In most cases, the one brightness is more than sufficient. I would be wary of your supplier, 9007 and 9004 use the same plug, only switch a couple of the wires. The bulb is a little different, but the 9004/7 kits I've played with have either both groves or a flippable collar with the required groves on each side.
