1996 stroke lossing power
Just got a 1996 power stroke it has 92500 miles changed oil and fule filter. It is lossing power when trying to pull a hill. It will make you pull off to the side of the road. Turn engine off and sit for a few minites and it will start back up and you will have power back.

Was it running OK before you you changes the oil & fuel filter?
It can take 10-20 miles to get the air out of the fuel system, especially if you didn't fill the fuel filter housing with fuel. Drive it hard...it should subside.

changed the cam sensor today was running great and then losted power after a short while. Pulled off to the side of the road shut it off and waited a 2 minites and started it back up and it ran great all the way home.
