I'm needing some help finding the screws that attach the door latch and window mechanism to the door of my 50 f1. I've gone to Fastenall, a local bolt and fastner store, but they weren't able to help. If there is anyone out there that knows the size of the screw and the thread count, it would be very much appreciated.
Thanks for being there for us dummies!
They would be #12 screws. I get all my stainless screws from the Auto Fair in Charlotte in the Spring and Fall.Call Jim Gillen at 9786922421 or e-mail him at applevalleystainless@yahoo.com and he will mail them to you. I am going to Charlotte in April and get a few more that I need. He only comes there in the Spring.

The parts catalog lists them as part #42868-S2, #12-24X½" screw & lockwasher assy. I've bought beveled head phillips screws from a local, well stocked hardware store. I had to buy flat star washers and crushed under the beveled heads to make them look stock.
McMaster Carr has them in stainless:
On Fastenal's web site they also list phillip oval head in stainless also.
