So i am considering a trade for a 2002 chevy 2500 4x4 hd what do you guys think i dont know too much about it all i know is it has been hit in the bed going too look at it tommorrow but aside from the fact that it is a chevy what do you guys think about a straight up trade?

I would not give two cents for a truck that was wrecked. What motor and tranny does the truck have?

When I hear hit, I think wrecked. Its probably pretty bad, given the guy is willing to trade a 2002 3/4 ton for a 1992 1/2 ton.

 

I would never buy chevy 4wd with IFS

you will find they have problem with frame crack near IFS arm mount.

 

Your truck is 10 years older, and yet the Chevy guy wants it over his current truck? Even if we were talking about 2 Fords here that raises a big fat RED FLAG to me.

I agree....I read the first post and saw that flag pop up too. I guess we'll have to wait till tomorrow to know more.
But to be honest, I'd take the 92 Ford every time.

 

Something here is very wrong, the chevy must have BIG hidden problems........Flood vehicle, salvage title, more than just hit in the bed?....Proceed with caution.
