most of the new trucks dont have one piece frame rails, and i wouldnt be suprised if these didnt either. most are welded around the box/cab seperation, so doing it right isnt scarey at all.
It's not the fact that they are 2 pieces, it's the fabrication and welding skills (or lack there of) that scare me. Add that to the fact that most people don't even realize the frames are heat treated, or what they are welding on, and it get's even scarier

i thoroughly agree chasetruck. my dad is a professional welder, so ive picked up on a thing or two about metal and welding, and some people make me mess my pants with poor welds on framework...
