Doing great for an old person. Wife is about the same, thanks for asking. She has to go in for her immune shot today. A friend of hers is shuttling her there and back since I have to work. It is good fro her to get with some of her friends. Mostly me and the dog around the house. Work is busy, tis the season for people to work outside in their yards. Some of my hibernating muscles are starting to get used to the work. Working between 30-38 hours a week.
How is everything going with you?
Yeah, I know what you mean. it was another cold day out there working. People are still coming in and getting stuff to mulch and plant. The groundhog is closer to right than Al Gore.
It is good to work/play in the dirt with your kids. I haven't even planted anything yet this year. I work with the stuff all day. Watering, moving and loading. Not sure when I am going to get around to doing for my place. I really would like tomatoes and peppers and maybe a few herbs.
With everything starting to bloom, we found out that we have two peach trees, Plum tree, Pear tree and a Fig tree at the new house we bought. All have been neglected for at least a year, so we'll see how they bear fruit. One of the peach trees doesn't seem to be doing too well, but hopefully it'll survive and I'll prune it after the season. Looking forward to seeing how everything taste.

At my old house I had a Granny Smith Apple Tree, that's the green apple. I know they had to be the best tasting apples that I ever put in my mouth, but the down side is you will never be able to buy good ones anymore. There is nothing like home grown fruit or home grown anything for that matter. That peach tree that is not doing good, try to mulch it and if you have a county extension office, ask them for help.
Speaking of trees this is what I found in my backyard the other morning.
At least there was no damage to property other than the cedar tree when the neighbor's weeping willow crashed on it. And nobody got hurt which was great.
