what year coil springs will fit ? Only 99-2003 or all years. Keep in mind mine is a 2wd. I want to remove the lift and get a leveling kit or a replacement spring like an E350 van spring I hear they are a little taller than a F250. Will the newer front coil springs work?
I looked in the catalog and it only list part numbers for springs by springs code. No info like GVW ratings, Ford didn't start listing the ratings until 2005 up.
I'm no help unless you find a spring you like and get me the vin number from that truck. Different part numbers used on the E series and F series so I have no idea if they would even mount.
I installed front coil springs from 2006 f350 4x4 in my 2002 f250 2wd.
I paid $ 20 for the two springs and a blacksmith charged $15 for bending the first coil of the "new springs" to fit in the towers. . the 2006 springs are little thinners but higher .
stock springs are 151/4 " and 2006 springs 191/2" . Now my front is little bit more than 37". I 'm going to alignment tomorrow .
thanks

Stewart,
looks like the spring seats, plate and insulator would be around $40-$50 a side and the springs new aroun $75 or used on ebay for around $20-$50 so for about $200 I think I will start gathering parts and post the results!
yeah, the front lift brackets always pop loud when turning. The bushings for the lower control arms wear out pretty quick due to the angle and the allignment is never right. I dont want to go to stock hieght, and I heard or read that the ambulance springs sit 2-3" higher than stock so thats what I'm after......
Indebt, probably u got Procomp Cspring wich are 21.6 " height -
My stock csprings were 151/4 " height so I thing if the ambulance package are around 19 or 20 inches u can use them without problems.
take measures .
I hope u understand my english

Please do, brother. I just wanna bring the stock height up to where the stock 4x4's sit. To me it would be perfect.
It sounds like you may have nailed the setup for the fronts. I'm thinking if it's coupled with some helper springs, which seem to add an inch or so of lift (from what I've read), it just might be an ideal solution for me.
4x4 height is what I'm after.....I took some measurements and the front is 42" (measured from the ground to bottom of the fender) and the rear is 41" If an 05 spring is sitting at 37" and I do a leveling kit I would be where I am now. The only benefit would be stock suspension locations and no popping. I think I like the idea of 37" in height and no leveling kit which leaves me with the rear a little too high at 41" but I have a helper spring that I could take out? I am going to do a little more research and see what I can put together....
P.S.
Juan can you take pictures of your setup and what did you do for the rear?
