Welcome to FTE. I think to get some replies you are going to need to provide more information as the symptoms you describe could be fuel/air/ignition/sensor related. How many miles on the truck? What maintenance has been done and when, plugs, wires, fuel filter, air filter. What speed and conditions are present when the stall occurs. Has it triggered the MIL and have any codes been pulled. What I've said here is the tip of the iceberg as there are others with much more diagnostic experience. Provide more information and you might get some responses. Good luck.

New to me truck - been sitting about a year - would not start when I bought it - was told fuel pump / filter was replaced to try to get it going - I replaced fuse for fuel pump then started right up. Had check engine light - code was 311 EGR If I plug straight vacuum to the EGR - it opens up and no light (passed Emmisions test that way- idled rough though) thinking it may be the PFE switch Have spare and planning to replace that - could that be causing it? truck has about 125000 miles - runs great other wise - just like someone shuts the key off then right back on.
Also planning complete tune up and timing belt as I don't know when done last.
Just wondering if this was a common issue?
Thanks! -This sight has help out quite a bit on my Fords! Keep em coming!
